MEMS report card deadline moved to June 8

Roger Grace Associates has extended the deadline to June 8 for participation in the 2020 MEMS Commercialization Report Card Study.

The study tracks the health of the MEMS industry with an emailed questionnaire to engineers and others in the MEMS industry. Participants grade 14 critical success factors, and the study uses the Delphi Method to arrive at statistically significant assessments. MEMS are microelectromechanical systems that are made of electronic, mechanical and wireless communication components usually housed on a single chip or integrated circuit.

Participants provide letter grades and verbatim responses to explain their grades. The study will compare year-to-year changes and trends.  The findings will be published in July.

“The study has been a valuable tool and guides industry participants as to how to best achieve successful MEMS commercialization,” said Roger Grace, founder of Roger Grace Associates, a MEMS industry consultancy.

The consultancy, based in Naples, Florida, was founded in 1982 to provide strategic marketing consulting and communications services to domestic and overseas high-tech clients. The firm specializes in development and execution of positioning, branding and market strategies for clients in commercializing technology for the sensors, MEMS, Nano, semiconductor and semiconductor equipment markets.
