STEUTE’s family of wireless and contact-type position sensors are available in magnetic and inductive versions. Contact-types feature an energy-generator, eliminating the need for a battery and its related maintenance. Magnetic and inductive components feature long-life batteries. Available for 915 MHz operation, they have a nominal transmission range of 40m inside and 450m outside. With a life expectancy in excess of 1 million operations and an IP67 rating, the units are suitable for position sensing in chemical processing, food processing, waste water, oil and gas, assembly, packaging, and other industrial applications.
