View Technologies’ Echo ‘Smart’ Antennas and inView Software Now Available as Part of PTC’s ThingWorx IoT Platform

MARIETTA, Ga. – View Technologies, a joint venture between Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. and RF Controls, announces that the company’s inView Platform for Real Time Location Services and RAIN RFID solutions are now available as a part of the IoT Platform from ThingWorx, a PTC Business and industry leader in building and deploying secure enterprise IoT applications for connected products.

View Technologies’ patented Echo smart antennas and inView Software Platform deliver key insights for retailers, such as determining when shipments enter or leave the dock, tracking the flow of product locations in store, or providing notifications when merchandise is misplaced or needing replenishment on a sales floor. The Echo smart antennas continuously identify, locate and track RAIN RFID tagged items within 150 feet with 3 feet or better location accuracy, providing real-time, item-level visibility while the software manages the real-time data.

“The inView and Echo solution locates assets quickly by eliminating hand-held scanners, increasing inventory accuracy while enhancing customer engagement and loss prevention,” said Steve Hudson, president of View Technologies. “We believe it’s the perfect addition to the ThingWorx IoT Platform and are excited to be a part of its ecosystem of IoT applications.”
