Deemed an industry first, the BD41000FJ-C transceiver is compatible with the new low-speed, low-cost CXPI communication protocol for HMI systems. The device enables multiplexing between ECUs, contributing to decreased vehicle weight and improved fuel efficiency by reducing the number and size of wiring harnesses. In addition, a quiescent current of 3 µA typical and an ESD resistance of ±8kV, IEC61000-4-2 make it possible to achieve low-power, high-reliability CXPI communication. Available in February 2016, price is $4.20 each.
