The Pyros-TGT2-DWB is a completely passive, battery-less thermistor tag with a temperature range from -30ºC to +300ºC for monitoring the condition of rotary parts. The battery-free RFID sensor tag is capable of transmitting a unique identifier and the associated temperature measurement data to a commercial EPC C1G2 reader. Features include a 103GT-2 NTC thermistor (10K) from Semitec with a measurement range from -10ºC to +120ºC degrees with an accuracy of ±0.5ºC degrees. It also offers an extended temperature range from -30ºC to +300ºC with an accuracy of ±3ºC degrees. RFID tag operation range spans -30ºC to +85ºC. The tag comes in a variety of antenna designs and sizes to adapt the performance to the 860 MHz to 960 MHz band. Reading distance for the tag is around 1.5m (5 ft.). Evaluation kits are available.
