Pasternack Enterprises’ latest family of high-isolation, hi-rel PIN diodes cover a frequency range of 1 GHz to 12 GHz with a port-to-port isolation of greater than 90 dB at 1 GHz to 2 GHz, 80 dB at 2 GHz to 4 GHz and 75 dB at 6 GHz to12 GHz. Insertion loss varies between 1 dB and 2.5 dB depending upon the frequency, and switching speed ranges from 35 ns to 75 ns. The RF switches are designed with complementary-metal–oxide–semiconductor (CMOS) transistor–transistor logic (TTL) drivers, matched internally for 50Ω inputs/outputs, and come in SMA-connectorized casings with an operating temperature range from -54ºC to +85ºC.
