The Netbiter Remote Management module allows users to monitor and control automation devices using EtherNet/IP via the web. The unit now offers connectivity to both Modbus devices and EtherNet/IP. Via the LAN port on the, it connects via the UnConnected Message Manager (UCMM), an acyclic messaging channel separate from the control loop messaging. Users can configure EtherNet/IP devices remotely using their regular configuration software, log trends and monitor performance over time, and get alarm or event notifications whenever critical thresholds are reached.
