Generational Equity Announces the Acquisition of Rel-Tech Electronics by RF Industries

DALLAS, TX -- Generational Equity, a mergers and acquisitions advisor for privately-held, middle-market businesses, announces the acquisition of its client, Rel-Tech Electronics Inc., headquartered in Milford, Connecticut, by RF Industries Ltd., headquartered in San Diego, California. The acquisition closed on June 5, 2015.

Founded in 1986, Rel-Tech Electronics is a leading manufacturer of custom cable assemblies and wiring harnesses. It offers a full range of value-added services, including product design, prototyping, stocking, bill of materials (BOM) management, consignment, and fulfillment programs.

Managing Director Doug Smith and his team, including affiliate George Nova and Vice President Ryan Johnson, led the Generational Equity deal team that advised Rel-Tech on the transaction. "Our clients are particularly pleased to be selling their business to RF Industries who will keep the plant in Connecticut and protect the jobs of its 60 employees," said George Nova.
