Female SMT Quick-Fit PCB Terminal Eases Assembly

Designed for surface mount (SMT) applications, Keystone Electronics’ quick-fit female terminal accepts tabs from a vertical or horizontal entry position.  The design allegedly simplifies the board design process and allows flexibility in board layout and component placement. The stable tri-leg design provides increased PCB mounting strength andserves to keep terminals perpendicular to the PCB so that the relative position is maintained during, and permanently following the reflow soldering process. Manufactured from Brass with Tin Nickel plating, the terminals accept 2.8 mm to 6.4 mm male quick fit terminals.
