A dual-channel, programmable power supply for PXI-platform designs, the PS48402 delivers 0 to 48V at 0 to 2A on each of its two outputs, to a maximum of 80W per channel. Using a single PXI slot, the unit uses an external ac/dc conversion box to generate power without loading the PXI chassis power supply. Other features include a transient recorder that can read back the output voltage or current with 16-bit resolution and fully-isolated outputs.
