CPI Standard Wall-Mount Cabinet Provides Secure Equipment Storage for Telecommunications Rooms

WESTLAKE VILLAGE, CA -- The newly released Standard Wall-Mount Cabinet by Chatsworth Products (CPI) is a structurally advanced metal enclosure designed to provide secure storage for network and telecommunications equipment in small worksites, complex spaces, public environments and remote facilities.

CPI's Standard Wall-Mount Cabinet combines exceptional strength and structural integrity, while supporting the temperature thresholds of equipment by optimising airflow through a basic, punched ventilation system. The product offers a variety of options, frame sizes and upgrades. Airflow can be improved through a combination of options, such as a perforated metal door and fan/filter kit.

"Large installations like data centres and colocation facilities have historically been well-protected, but there are many instances where remotely installed equipment may pose vulnerability. CPI developed the Standard Wall-Mount product family to help customers secure and protect equipment at these smaller or remote locations. Since these sites only contain a few small devices and no onsite installation crew, our innovative design allows a single person to quickly and safely install a series of small lightweight panels instead of a large bulky cabinet. I am confident that our customers will quickly recognise the benefits resulting in a highly successful product family," stated Sam Rodriguez, CPI Sr. Product Manager of Cabinet & Thermal Solutions.

Key benefits include:
•Flat packed: Ships in compact carton for easy maneuvering around jobsites.
•Quick assembly: Slot-and-hook system offers swift assembly in less than 15 minutes.
•Easy installation: Pre-punched keyholes allow simple and efficient setup.

Additionally, the Standard Wall-Mount Cabinet includes a single pair of 19-inch wide square-punched mounting rails, which are adjustable in depth, allowing for attachment of various equipment modules or accessories. The cabinet's rear panel also provides additional mounting space for shallow depth equipment including rack-mounted power distribution units, horizontal cable managers or busbars.

Furthermore, the cabinet is available in a 24-inch wide frame, two colors, two depths and three heights. It features a non-swing, fixed chassis with a hinged door. Three door options are available: solid metal, perforated metal and tempered glass. All doors come equipped with a standard locking key-latch with the option to upgrade to CPI's Electronic Lock Kit, System 1000.
