SAN JOSE, CA -- Cavium, Inc. has expanded its partnership with Quantenna Communication to deliver the latest high-performance 10G Wave 3 Wi-Fi solutions for campus, home and high-density environments. The newly announced Quantenna True 8x8™ QSR10G Wi-Fi platform paired with Cavium's leading OCTEON® III CN71XX high performance, low power quad-core processors will address the capacity, reliability, thermal and security challenges in next generation Wi-Fi access points, routers and gateways.

Wi-Fi has now become a ubiquitous utility in home, work and public venues. Social media, online video and home entertainment are driving bandwidth-demanding applications such as real-time video sharing and 4K video streaming.
