MDT, San Jose, CA, and Zhangjiagang, China, provides Z-Axis tunneling magnetoresistive (TMR) sensors with great performance and ultra-low power as alternatives to Hall Effect sensors. The sensors are compatible with Hall Effect sensors in the sensing direction measuring perpendicular magnetic field penetrating the sensor surface. They offer options for multi-axis, eCompass, current sensors, and general-purpose linear magnetic field sensing. The TMR sensors offer high sensitivity, low noise, ultra-low power, and thermal stability.
