The WLS-TC and WLS-TEMP from Measurement Computing Corp., Norton, MA, are wireless versions of the company's USB-TC and USB-TEMP temperature input devices. The RF modules meet IEEE 802.15.4 standards and support low-power wireless sensor networks, operating within the ISM 2.4 GHz band. The WLS-TC supports 8 channels of Type J, K, R, S, T, N, E, and B thermocouples while the WLS-TEMP supports 8 channels of data from the same thermocouple types in addition to RTDs, thermistors, and semiconductor temperature sensors. Range is up to 150 ft. indoors and as far as 2460 ft. LOS outdoors. A small PC interface module connects to your PC USB port.
