Monnit Corp., Kaysville, UT, has added seven new wireless sensors to its WIT line of sensors for commercial, industrial, and consumer applications as well as introducing the MonnitLink Ethernet gateway. New WIT sensors include a wireless IR motion sensor, a wireless flex sensor that measures the amount of flex or bend applied to a flexible ribbon, a wireless light sensor, a wireless humidity sensor with ±2% accuracy between 10% and 90% humidity, a wireless 0–20 mA current sensor, a wireless analog voltage sensor, and a wireless liquid level sensor that detects the liquid level in a container by its position on a liquid-sensitive ribbon. The gateway lets WIT sensors communicate with the company's online sensor monitoring and alerting system without needing a computer.
