The WizFi630 from Saelig Co. Inc., Pittsford, NY, is an embedded WiFi gateway module that transforms RS-232 and TCP/IP protocol into IEEE 802.11 b/g/n wireless LAN protocol. The device uses serial (UART), LAN, and WLAN interfaces to convert serial-to-WiFi, serial-to-Ethernet, and Ethernet-to-WiFi and can act as an IP router due to its internally embedded switch. The WizFi630 can operate in gateway, access point (AP), AP-client, client, and ad-hoc modes and provides 2 UART and 3 Ethernet interfaces.
