The device is designed to work closely with the company's Model 2910 RF vector signal generator. The analyzer uses a software-defined radio architecture with a 500 MHz digital signal processor. Features include the ability to perform a 200 MHz span sweep using a 100 Hz bandwidth in ~15 s, 30 MHz of 3 dB measurement bandwidth with 20 MHz of flatness within 1 dB, the ability to decompose a waveform into its constituent frequencies, and the ability to decompose digitally modulated signals into I and Q phase components.
