Enhanced Linux support automates dependency checking, greatly simplifying and speeding up the analysis of code in these environments. With the 9.5 release, users also have the ability to add custom attributes and types kept with each requirement or test case enabling the product to be customized and tuned to various project requirements for information and record keeping.

The LDRA tool suite offers independent verification support across the full development life cycle from certification objectives of standards, such as DO-178C, ISO 26262, IEC 61508, EN 50128, and IEC 62304, to requirements, code, and target testing. With version 9.5, LDRA made the following improvements:
• Linux support. Users can now conduct complete Linux dependency checks to ensure comprehensive analysis despite the many variants between target Linux OS and their libraries.
• Unit testing. Enhancements to file and class views improve users’ ability to look at coverage analysis from different perspectives.
• Simplified test case creation and execution. Point and click for test case creation.
• Flow graphs. Users can aggregate flow graphs from multiple test cases to see how their system reacted differently to each test case, saving time and improving understanding of the big picture.
• TBmanager. The addition of metadata enables companies to fit verification to their workflow improving communications and coordination between development teams and allowing them to organize artifacts and software components as needed.
• Uniview update. Now offers a clear and expansive view of traceability relationships, from requirements to software code to verification tasks and test cases.
