The single-channel Model T80 universal transmitter from Electro-Chemical Devices Inc., Irvine, CA, is designed for continuous measurement of multiple parameters in a general-purpose industrial environment. Measured parameters can include pH, ORP, pION, dissolved oxygen, turbidity, conductivity, or resistivity. The transmitter communicates with any of the company's Model S80 intelligent sensors and automatically configures the transmitter's menus and display screens to the measured parameter; it can also accept any standard pH, ORP or pION sensor with solution ground using an optional input card. Other features include membrane switch navigation, soft-key menu choices, an LCD, and 4–20 mA output with Modbus RTU.
