The TSR101 from MadgeTech Inc., Warner, NH, is a battery-powered, triaxial transient-shock data logger for characterizing environments for packaging and fragility assessment, break and crash testing, and shipment validation. The device records data to memory when a user-specified trigger setting is exceeded; a window of pre-trigger data is also recorded. You can specify a reading rate between 1024 Hz to 1 Hz, start and stop the device from a computer, and retrieve the data by plugging it into an empty COM or USB port.
