The EX1200-7416 from VTI Instruments Corp., Irvine, CA, is configurable LXI Class A transient capture and timestamp module. The module can be combined with other EX1200 plug-ins to create a multifunction instrument. The card features 16 input channels; ability to continuously monitor high-level analog and discrete signals up to 100 V; an 8-bit DAC on each channel with independently-programmable trip levels; and the ability to record events with IEEE 1588 time codes. Input channels can be internally routed to the optional EX1200 Series DMM to measure the analog level; reference DACs can also be routed to the internal DMM to facilitate self-verification.
