Models S10 and S17 from Electro-Chemical Devices (ECD) Inc., Irvine, CA, are universal toroidal sensors that measure conductivity over a range from 50 to 1000 mS. The Model S10 is an immersion or insertion sensor and the Model S17 is a valve-retractable sensor. The sensors have a small-diameter configuration design to fit into existing installations; both devices have a 0.75 in. dia. PVDF body and can operate in pipes as small as 1.5 in. dia. Applications include municipal water/wastewater treatment, industrial wastewater, petrochemical processing, food/beverage, electronics and semiconductor, metals/mining, power generation, pollution monitoring, and aquaculture.
