The Environmentally Hardened Cellular Edition from Temperature@lert, Boston, MA, is a weatherproof, solar-powered temperature monitoring device for remote locations and outdoor operations that can alert you via email, telephone, and text message when the temperature rises or falls outside of the acceptable range. The temperature sensor measures temperatures from –40°F to 200°F with ±0.5°C accuracy; an optional humidity sensor operates from 10%–90% RH within ±3% RH. When the device is plugged into a power outlet it immediately transmits temperature readings over the AT&T and T-Mobile cellular phone networks to the company's monitoring system and Dashboard Web site.
