HIH-5030/5031 Series CMOS-based capacitive humidity sensors from Honeywell, Minneapolis, MN, measure humidity from 0%–100% RH and are supplied on tape and reel. Features include a supply voltage down to 2.7 VDC, low current draw, and good accuracy, interchangeability, response time, and stability. The HIH-5030 is a covered IC humidity sensor while the HIH-5031 is a covered, condensation-resistant, IC humidity sensor fitted with a hydrophobic filter. Applications include air compressors, drying equipment, HVAC, OEM assemblies, process equipment, refrigeration, meteorology equipment, and treadmill stress-monitoring equipment.
