The OM-CP-ULTRASHOCK101-50-EB from Omega Engineering Inc., Stamford, CT, is a battery powered triaxial shock recorder that measures and records temperature, pressure, and humidity at selected reading rates and shock at peak acceleration levels. The device measures and records up to 170,000 measurements/channel for >1 million measurements total and plugs into a COM or USB port to download data. Applications include documenting dynamic environments such as moving vehicles, trucks, containers, and ships and for characterizing production and assembly lines for delicate electronics, IC fabrication, communications, and computer components. Battery life is 60 days typ.
