Series 28 photoelectric sensors from Pepperl+Fuchs Inc., Twinsburg, OH, are available in DC and AC/DC models and have an IP67 housing and LEDs for visual status indication. Features include advanced cross-talk protection; immunity to ambient light; visible red, IR, and laser light sources; and cabled, quick disconnect and terminal models. Optional timer models and low-temperature models (down to –40°F) are also available. Applications include material handling, packaging, and automotive applications. Sensors are available with NPN, PNP, relay, AS-I, and 4-in-1 outputs. The latter lets a single sensor automatically determine the appropriate output type without external programming.
