GE Sensing & Inspection Technologies
The ChipCap from GE Sensing & Inspection Technologies, Billerica, MA, is a fully factory calibrated RH and temperature sensor for HVAC, automotive, medical, and appliance applications. The sensors change capacitance in direct proportion to ambient RH and a thin-film platinum element changes resistance in proportion to temperature. Sensing ranges are 0%–100% RH and –50°C to 150°C. Designed for high-volume applications, the sensor's integral design reduces overall cost and complexity and improves reliability.
