The device combines the ZigBee-compliant RF transceiver with an 8051-based 8-bit microprocessor and features 8 dBm output power, –98 dBm receiver sensitivity, 106 dB link budget, 1.5–3.3 V operating voltage, 96 KB of Flash memory, and 8 KB of data memory. Power consumption is 30.6 mA (QN48 package) or 29.7 mA (VFBGA72 package) in transmit mode, 33.2 mA in receive mode, and 0.3 µA in standby mode. The microprocessor offers a robust set of peripherals.
