The AST4900 from American Sensor Technologies Inc., Mt. Olive, NJ, is a SS pressure sensor for measurement of gases and liquids in high-purity applications. The SS sensors use the company's Krystal Bond technology; have no oil-fill, welds, or internal O-rings; and carry a CE EN61326 certification and UL/cUL508 approval. Available pressure ranges are 0–25 psi to 0–10,000 psi; compound ranges are also available. Outputs are voltage, current, or frequency signals. Other features include 2X over-range protection, 5X burst pressure, and ability to withstand >100 million pressure cycles. Applications include semiconductor test stands, processing equipment, pipeline instrumentation, and data loggers.
