The iW628 is an adaptive voltage position monitor that works with the iW1766 and iW1767 to improve dynamic load response (DLR) by providing an ultra-fast wake up signal to the primary-side regulator in the event of a sudden power-load change. The iW1766 is optimized for up to 12 w, <10 mW standby power consumption and the iW1767 is optimized for up to 24 W, <20 mW standby power consumption. The chipsets also feature user-configurable 5-level cable drop compensation and adaptive multimode PWM/PFM.
