Model XLDR from tecsis LP, Worthington, OH, is a robust compression load cell that measures the load on oil well sucker-rod pumping systems. These bonded foil strain-gauge load cells provide 0.50% combined accuracy (FSO) and are engineered for severe outdoor use with sealed construction and built-in lightning protection. The rod load cell is available in ranges from 30,000 lbf to 50,000 lbf. Features include 2 mV/V standard output; CSA approved 4–20 mA (optional); and -40°F to 175°F operating temperature, compensated from 0°F to 150°F. Options include high resistance bridges, mating connector and cable assemblies, and spherical mounting washers.
