The iC212 from iC-Haus GmbH, Bodenheim, Germany, is an optical receiver for fast laser pulse measurement, with an input frequency range of DC up to 1.4 GHz and a wide spectral range. Capable of detecting optical power in the sub-mW range, the receiver has spectral sensitivity from 320 nm to 1000 nm, an active sensor area of its Si-PIN photodiode with lens of 0.75 mm2, and a gain of 1.625 V/mW at λ=760 nm. Applications include rise and fall times of laser beams, optical power measurements, time-of-flight measurements, measurements in fiber transmission networks, and QC in laser module production.
