Optical Design Software Takes A Step Up

Qioptiq introduces an enhanced version of its WinLens3D optical design software for both the full and free basic versions. The software, which has been around for 25, now supports significantly improved graph and lens drawing printouts, particularly for zoom systems.

 

The EFL Solve function automatically changes the final curvature to maintain a chosen system focal length. In addition, Qioptiq has implemented the latest glass database as well as optimized functions for troubleshooting.
