The USB Easy Temp from Dexter Research Center, Dexter, MI, is a calibrated noncontact IR thermometer for measuring object temperature. The device is based on the company's IR thermopile technology, works with your Windows-based computer, and connects via the USB port. Software provides real-time temperature plots, over- and under-temperature alarms, and data logging. You can set over- and under-temperature alerts and be notified by text, email, or notification on your computer. Applications include monitoring temperatures of critical computer equipment, water pipe pre-freeze warning, liquid temperature and plant foliage temperature.
