Non-Volatile Memory Tackles Tough Drilling Apps

Non-Volatile Memory Tackles Tough Drilling Apps
Honeywell

Honeywell aerospace debuts its high-temperature, non-volatile memory Electrically Erasable Programmable Read Only Memory (EEPROM) for well monitoring and measurement-while-drilling (MWD) data storage in down-hole drilling energy operations requiring memory that can withstand temperatures of +250°C and higher. Exploiting the company’s high-temperature Silicon on Insulator (SOI) IV process technology, the EEPROM is programmable and erasable across the full operating temperature range. For either operation, removal of the EEPROM from the circuit is unnecessary. For more details, visit http://www.hightempsolutions.com/EEPROM.php.
