ATLANTA, GA /Marketwired/ -- Nivis, a global leader in smart grid and industrial wireless networks, announced the world's first ISA100.11a application layer software development kit, VersaApp SDK, a complete software development kit that speeds development of the ISA100.11a application layer software to link a standards-compliant wireless radio node to a physical sensor or control device. Use of the VersaApp SDK can reduce application layer development time from months to weeks.

The VersaApp SDK library is modular, flexible, extensible, and scalable, enabling seamless integration with the Nivis VN210 radio module, VN310 radio module, or other ISA100.11a standard compliant radios. The SDK will only support the ISA100.11a standard at present, but future updates are planned for WirelessHART support as well. It has been tested for compliance by Nivis experts and is WCI certifiable.
