DeviceLinx XChip compact SoC networking coprocessors from Lantronix, Irvine, CA, let you add serial-to-Ethernet connectivity to high-volume products. The XChip is a highly integrated x86 class processor with a built-in Ethernet MAC and 10–100 PHY, 256 KB SRAM, up to 11 general-purpose I/O, and a serial UART in a 12 by 12 mm 184 BGA RoHS-compliant package. Firmware and network stack includes TCP/IP, UDP, BootP, DHCP, and AutoIP. The XChip Direct is an embedded device gateway coprocessor. The embedded device server coprocessor XCHIP has a built-in Web server and 256-bit AES encryption. The embedded programmable device server XChip AR has a built-in Web server, SSH/SSL secure connectivity, and advanced Web services.
