The gateway connects any RS-232/485 serial device to fieldbus and industrial Ethernet protocols and its cLogic technology enables you to implement custom data translation. MacroNode I/O now supports EtherCAT, an open real-time network, as well as Modbus/TCP, Ethernet/IP, and DeviceNet. It also features sub-ms I/O control, distributed real-time logic engine, and up to 96 I/O points over 4 slots in a compact package. Each I/O card is digital, analog, or a combination and has a built-in Web server.
