PIXELTEQ, Largo, FL, offers the PixelSensor 8-band multispectral photodiode array, with eight wavelength-selective photodiodes in a compact 9 mm2 sensor that splits the visible spectrum into eight discrete color bands. The unit is in a standard 20-pin LCC package, surface- or socket-mounted. The sensor enables multispectral sensing at a smaller scale by integrating spectral filters at the sensor level, simplifying optical designs and reducing cost.
