Multiple Color Sensor from MAZeT

The MMCS6 from MAZeT GmbH, Jena, Germany, uses compact semiconductor sensors with integrated interference filters and combines these with seven spectral bands (from 380–780 nm) to produce a color measurement based on spectral approximation. Color is analyzed on the radiometric level and the color's spectrum is used to compute the color space. Features include filtering out of metamerism effects and overlapping spectral bands to minimize erroneous color interpretation and increase measurement accuracy. Intended for OEMs, the sensor ships with a software library.
