MAZeT GmbH, Jena, Germany, offers the MT104C signal amplifier that has 4 TIA-based amplifier channels and allows you to amplify signals for multichannel optical sensors, such as arrays or color sensors. You can set the transimpedance of the MT104C to 8 different levels, to adjust to the various application requirements. The chip has an integrated power-down mode and draws 8 µA in zero-signal current consumption. When various photodiodes are to be switched on, the amplifier's compensation can be adjusted in 5 and 80 pF steps in accordance with the input capacity of the photodiodes. Applications include industrial sensors, equipment for surface analysis and temperature measurement, and measuring, regulation, and control of light and laser sources.
