The HygroPro from
GE Sensing, Billerica, MA, is a compact, intrinsically safe loop-powered moisture transmitter with a built-in thermistor and pressure transducer. The device provides real-time measurement of dew point and calculated parameters such as ppmv in gases, ppmw in liquids, and pounds per million standard cubic feet in natural gas. The Bafeesa- and FM(pending)-certified intrinsically safe transmitter has an IP67/Type 4X housing, an integrated backlit display, and 6-button keypad. Applications include measuring moisture content in natural gas pipelines, petrochemicals, and power generation.
