O7 Series photoelectric sensors from ifm efector inc., Exton, PA, are designed to detect small objects in part feeding, robotics, assembly automation, and material handling applications. The 20 by 15 by 9 mm sensors are designed with fixed sensing ranges; diffuse sensors with background suppression have 30, 50, or 100 mm ranges; polarized retroreflective models have a 1 m range; and throughbeam pairs have a 1.5 m range. Features include a visible red light beam, prewired cable with M8 Pico connector, and optional light on, dark on, or pnp models.
