The Model 2017A from VIP Sensors, San Juan Capistrano, CA, is an adhesively mounted piezoelectric accelerometer with integral electronics (IEPE) suited for measuring vibration on small structures and objects. The device weighs 5 g, features high SNR, 10 mV/g or 100 mV/g output sensitivities, and bandwidth up to 6 kHz. The low-impedance voltage output is transmitted through the same cable that supplies the constant current power.
