The SiT380X family of MEMS-based voltage-controlled oscillators (VXCOs) from SiTime Corp., Sunnyvale, CA, offer sub-picosecond jitter and pull range up to ±1600 for telecom, networking, and embedded applications. The SiT3808 operates between 1–80 MHz while the SiT3809 operates from 80–220 Hz and both feature linearity <1%, any frequency within the operating range with 6 decimal places of accuracy, frequency stability as low as ±10 ppm, programmable drive strength, industrial (–40°C to 85°C) and commercial (–20°C to 70°C) operating temperature ranges, and 1.8 V and 2.5–3.3 V operation.
