The KMJ0401IC from Knowles Acoustics, Itasca, IL, is an ultra-low-power digital MEMS joystick for use in handheld consumer devices. The joystick consumes 40 µA in active mode and 3 µ in sleep mode and features a fully integrated ADC with I2C interface and a size of 9.8 by 9.8 by 1.6 mm. The joystick can be integrated into smartphones, tablet PCs, notebooks, e-readers, smart remote controls, wireless keyboards, and gaming controllers.
