The POSITILT PTAS2 from ASM Sensors Inc., Elmhurst, IL, is a magnetic inclinometer with ranges from ±15° to ±180° in an IP68-rated SS housing. Analog outputs are 0.5–5 V, 0.5–10 V, or 4–20 mA with 0.1° typical resolution and measurement range is ±15° to ±180° in 15° increments. Tested to withstand 100 g shocks and 20 g, 10 Hz to 2 kHz vibration, the inclinometers are suited for use in factory automation machines, robotics, mobile cranes, drawbridges, adjustable platforms, and off-highway construction equipment.
