The POSIROT PRDS1 from ASM Sensors Inc., Elmhurst, IL, is a compact magnetic angle sensor in an M12 housing. The 12 mm dia. by 50 mm deep device has a 0°–360° measurement range and uses an independent magnet with an air gap between it and the sensor. Incremental digital outputs include RS5V, RS24V, and HT24V. The sensor is manufactured from SS with an integral M12 thread incorporated into the body, providing sealing options from IP67 to IP69K. Applications include assembly lines, valve flap settings, packaging machines, and medical equipment.
