The Intersema MS5536-60 from Servoflo Corp., Lexington, MA, is a digital pressure sensor with a 0–60 mbar relative pressure measurement range. Signal resolution is 0.05 mbar, temperature compensation is from 0°C–85°C, and the digital output is a 16-bit data word for both pressure and temperature. Features include 64-bit factory calibration contained in the device, a piezoresistive sensing element, power consumption of <4 mA, power supply of 2.2–3.6 V, and self heating to achieve stable measurements with ±1 mbar accuracy from 20°C–40°C and ±5 mbar from 0°C–60°C. Applications include medical respirators and blood pressure monitors, climate control, HVAC, and water level measurements up to 60 cm.
