The device integrates an RF transceiver with an enhanced 8051 microcontroller; 256 KB in-system programmable flash memory; 8 KB RAM; peripherals including DMA, GPIO, USARTs, ADC, and timers; and support for a variety of free protocol stacks. The device is compatible with the company's 2.4 GHz analog front ends and MSP430 ultra-low-power microcontrollers.
